Hello, I'm excited to be running for Los Alamitos City Council District 1.

Welcome to my website!

Here's how I will earn your vote

Since my husband and I moved to Los Alamitos in 1994, I have served on several non-profit boards of directors and city commissions. This experience inspired me to be deeply committed to preserving the family-friendly atmosphere we cherish in Los Alamitos, ensuring our values remain at the forefront of our decisions.

My extensive civic experience includes serving as a current Los Alamitos planning commissioner with over 10 years of commission experience and as a past chairwoman. This experience has equipped me with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively lead and serve our community.

I have served on the Board of Directors for various Los Alamitos non-profits:

  • Precious Life Shelter
  • St. Isidore’s Historical Plaza
  • YMCA (Los Alamitos, Rossmoor, and Seal Beach)

In these roles, I have worked on various projects and initiatives, gaining valuable experience and insights that I plan to bring to the City Council. I also participated in the Pink Patch Project with the Los Alamitos Police Department. As a member of the Rotary Club, I was involved in many community service activities and events. When non-profits in Los Alamitos ask for help, I am there with a helping hand, ready to support and serve our community.

Candidacy Statement

I have been a resident of District 1 for more than 30 years. I enjoy living in our family friendly community as well as serving on the board of directors for Precious Life Shelter, St. Isidore Historical Plaza, YMCA, Pink Patch Project, and the Planning Commission. Along with my volunteering, I have my Doctorate in Nursing and work as a Nurse Practitioner in family practice. As your representative, I will address your concerns. Just like you, I too am concerned about the condition of our streets, the speed of cars in residential areas, pot holes with temporary fixes, parental rights, catalytic converter thief, increased homelessness, along with many other issues. Our city and schools have always strived to maintain a blue ribbon quality. It is more critical now than ever with the increased risk of greater government taking away rights away from local cities to support strong leadership and representation on our city council. As your councilmember, we will work together to continue the positive safe Los Alamitos friendly town atmosphere.

I run for the people of our community - our home.

Voting Map

Where is District 1?

Los Alamitos has 5 voting districts. To ensure that everyone is heard, most local cities are now broken into voting districts that are equal in population. I am running for council to bring a stronger voice for the issues of District 1.
